Jac Arbour: Author and Speaker on Accelerating the Rate of Sustainable Achievement
Jac graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where he was initially tracked for a career in dentistry. By the end of his sophomore year, however, Jac discovered that his true passion was sales. Jac followed this passion and soon became a top salesperson for a nationally recognized Independent Marketing Organization. Jac qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table his first year in the insurance industry and has now spent five consecutive years at the table. Jac continues to win accolades for his acumen in financial planning, insurance, and sales, and is now in demand as a professional speaker. In little time, Jac has added three more hats: speaker, author, and publisher.
CEO of Proceeds Press and author of two books —May You Drink from the Saucer: Timeless Truths for an Extraordinary Life (Fall 2013) and This Little Piggy: How One Little Piggy Learned to Build True and Sustainable Wealth (for release in 2014) — Jac makes numerous speaking appearances each year. His clients include high schools and colleges who are interested in giving their students a jump on life after graduation, nonprofits committed to fund development, and companies looking to build sustainable, team-oriented business models that promote higher achievement, faster.
As a speaker, Jac stands on the shoulders of giants. He has been mentored by Don Hutson and Danny Cox, both members of the Speakers Roundtable and the National Speakers Association’s Hall of Fame. The voice he brings to the podium is a refreshing one and as Don Hutson says, "Jac's words of wisdom belie his years." Jac is a graduate of the Bill Gove Speech Workshop and being only several years out of college where he played varsity basketball, his youth and towering, energetic presence powerfully engage his audiences. Jac delivers a timeless message, one packaged for the 21st century and styled for today’s audiences, including both today's academia and workplaces.
